Hello Again! Just wanted to give you all an update.
We are still working on the next trip to Haiti. Thank you so much for your patience. Things have been a whirlwind on our side trying to prepare for this next trip but we are absolutely going to be going again! This is an ongoing project and we expect many many more visits over the next few years to help Haiti become the great country that we know it can be.
We sincerely apologize that this process has been taking much longer than anticipated but we appreciate your understanding. Look out for some big developments over the next two weeks!

RELIEF Update from PG
Hello R.E.L.I.E.F.,
First-off - thank you for all of those who supported RELIEF at our first organized fundraiser last week. We raised over $25,000 and gained support from executives at Home Depot, the Mayor of Port au Prince, the Mayor of Miami, and many others. Monetary donations are still needed - Please continue to VENMO your support!
Good News and Bad News:
Good News First:
1) The Mayor of Port au Prince has asked our organization to construct the very first building in Haiti since the Earth Quake (see the attached picture for the location)
2) This Friday in Haiti RELIEF will be celebrating with the Mayor of Miami and the Mayor of Port au Prince, the Ground Breaking Ceremony for this new structure
3) The building will be an all purpose pavilion, emergency fall out shelter, public facility, and town hall.
4) Children from Miriam's Orphanage will be helping RELIEF construct the building
5) Materials have been generously donated from the executives @ Home Depot and numerous other big named corporations
Bad News:
It is necessary to postpone the June 10-14th trip to Haiti as we currently do not have all the appropriate information necessary for this new structure and are afraid that the June 10th send-off date will not give us adequate time to prepare. We sincerely apologize for this delay and hope to schedule a new date for the early summer within the coming weeks.
Please let us know if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns!
Best Regards,
-Peter Groverman

Update 4-19
Hello All!
Until our website is up and fully function we will be using the blog to communicate information, share stories of ongoing efforts, and keep you informed about our upcoming trip in June.
For now, here's a quick update to let you know what's going on with The RELIEF Foundation.
Our next trip has been tentatively scheduled for June 10-14. During this time we will be building an elementary school for the New Life Foundation Orphanage and the surrounding area as well as offices for the Mayor of Port Au Prince.
If you are interested in participating, please send an email to Toni Cannon at tcannon@therelieffoundation.com
At this time, we only have space available for 70 volunteers and the list is rapidly filling. We are hoping to work out discounted flights to Haiti, will keep you posted!
Some big news, we're currently in the running to receive assistance from the Bush-Clinton Haiti Relief Foundation! Cross your fingers, this could be a monumental step for us as it will really push our organization forward.
We will also be hosting a fund raiser in Miami, the date is currently set for May 14th or 15th at the Rusty Pelican. Details to come.
